The bar must be raised by Workforce Professionals in terms of how we train customers to make successful career transitions. This will enhance placements and assist customers in achieving their career goals.

We raise the bar by empowering and inspiring customers. It's not enough to provide them with tools and skills such as resumes, interviewing tips, or a database of job openings. Successful career transition is about maintaining a peak performance state of mind because with a positive attitude, career transition goals can be easily achieved. Thomas Jefferson said, "Nothing can stop a person with the right mental attitude from achieving his goal; but nothing on earth can help the person with the wrong mental attitude."

The bar can be raised by training with passion, by challenging customers to turn obstacles into opportunities, and by empowering customers to live every day with an attitude of gratitude; focusing on all that is going well rather then the few things that are not going well.

Energy attracts like energy. When we train with passion and high energy, and challenge our customers to approach the job search in the same way, job transition skills and tools will be dramatically more effective and productive. NAWB partners with dynamic works for your professional development

The National Association of Workforce Boards (NAWB) is pleased to announce a new strategic partnership with Dynamic Works to bring professional development opportunities to workforce boards and One-Stops.

NAWB's primary goal is to strengthen the capacity of workforce investment boards to provide communities leadership and to improve the quality of the workforce development system. NAWB's objective is to identify and secure new mediums to deliver technical assistance to NAWB members.
